| These are pictures from a battle between British paratroopers and the Germans in Normandy using the "I Ain't Been Shot, Mum!" rules from Too Fat Lardies. All miniatures and terrain were painted by Justin Tebo. Scale is 15mm. Check out the rules at http://www.toofatlardies.co.uk/. You may notice from the pictures that the IABSM! rules use hidden movement until a unit opens fire or is spotted by the enemy. Additionally, the use of dummy markers really creates an exciting fog of war. At the end of the day, the Germans were able to hold the town, mostly because their heavy machine gun in the church tower could not miss. |
