General Membership Meeting on March 12, 2006
Old Business
1. Joe Waggle's miniatures will be sold (with his consent) to pay his overdue rent. One last effort will
be made by the Secretary to reach out to Lou Geipel via e-mail, our only means of contact with him.
Miniatures will be offered to the club membership first, then sold to the public, in accordance with the
bylaws for abandoned property.
2. Elections were held.
New Business
1. Peter Bless was elected President (unanimous). Adam Starkweather was elected Vice President
(unanimous). Tony Venturino was elected Treasurer (unanimous). James Grotto was elected head of
the Premises Committee (unanimous). Tim Staines was elected Secretary (unanimous).
2. Joe Brophy resigned his position as President after many years of dedicated service to Metropolitan
Wargamers.
3. Mike Willner and Tony Arena were nominated and confirmed as probationary members.
4. The club will run games at a public event to honor the military on Long Island on April 29, 2006.
5. The club will look into running an event in Park Slope at the "Old Stone House". This was part of
the AWI Battle of Brooklyn.
6. All members will attempt to send the Secretary profiles to put onto the web page.
