First Game(s):  Tactics II and Gettysburg (Avalon Hill); playing with Toy Soldiers using
Featherstone and Morchauser miniatures rules.

Favorite Game(s):  Any elegant design except monster/complex or computer games such
as Joan of Arc, Twilight Imperium, Memoir 44. My own miniatures rules such as Recon and
Rushes of WWII and unpublished like The Rifles Trilogy, or The Sword and the Flame.  
Tending towards the simpler games as I age.

Currently Playing:  Board:  Command and Colors Ancients, Twilight Imperium, Ted
Raicer's The First World War, Age of Mythology, Warcraft, Azteca.  Also the new simple
collectibles: Heroclix, Mechwarrior, Star Wars, Heroscape, and Axis and Allies Minis.  
Beer and pretzels like Munchkin, Bang, Strange Synergy,  and others.  
Miniatures:  
Colonial, ACW, 18th Century.  Will do Role Playing for food.

Favorite Gaming Genre:  Board and Miniatures Games, esp. 54mm non-skirmish minis

Games Owned:  Too many, mostly area movement and multi-player these days.

Miniature Armies Owned:  54mm from Medieval to WWII.  About 15,000 figures plus
terrain, buildings, vehicles, ships, etc, all organized into OBs!

Other Hobby Activities:  HMGS Conventions, Pete Panzeri/Fred Hubig Jodiecons and
other weekend mega minis, 54mm discussion group littlewars@yahoogroups.com, regular
column "Those Fighting Fifty-Fours" for MWAN magazine for many moons, (now The
Historical Miniatures Gamer).

Gaming Philosophy:  Like to plan sessions ahead of time with commitments from players,  
read rules, design player aids, etc. if possible, and prepare just enough to get into the design.
 Often run games, or support others being Game Master have a smooth and enjoyable
experience without hassle.  Often win minor awards; usually of the "most helpful to GM"
variety.  Its about the theatre and spectacle of the experience as well as playing well.
